This was by far the worst room we stayed at during our 14 night trip in Portugal. We needed a room the last night close to the airport and there was low availability due to Web conference in Lisbon. Furniture was in bad shape bathroom was dark. The Lobby gives a much better impression than the rooms and upstairs hallways.

Not a bad hotel but definitely not 5 star. Reception staff seemed reluctant to help. The bedrooms are in serious need of some upgrades with the floors severely marked and some cupboard doors almost falling off. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, no iron and the bathroom had no where to hang anything. The spa was well decorated and modern. The massage was one of the best I've had. I found it odd there was no relaxing music in the treatment room, and at the end I was given a lovely pot of tea, but sat in reception. I found the relaxation room when going back to get changed, which I found odd. The bar is a nice place to sit in the lobby, but does lack atmosphere with no background music. I went to look for the business centre to work, but It was soulless. Overall, not a terrible stay but certainly not great, would probably look elsewhere if staying in Lisbon again.

I don't know how this hotel is allowed to call themselves a 5 Star hotel it is far from it. At best it's a 2 or 3 star hotel. I stayed here 3 nights total. First, the carpet was old, the furniture was dusty and chipped. The bathroom was plain weird. Most of the hotels I've stayed in Europe only half doors. I have no idea why they do it but they do. This one has no shower door at all. In addition it's more than a foot off the ground so it's more like climbing into it vs stepping into it. (see pic, the suitcase is for reference it's 29 inches). Once you have stepped up (you are about 10 inches off ground level another weird inexplicable thing) you have the choices of drenching rain shower held or a minimal hand held. There was no stopper in the tub to take a bath. There is a glass window for a view to your bed or whatever lol but don't worry there is a modern electric shade that can be lowered for more privacy. The closet was very tall I could barely reach the hangers (yes I'm short but even on my tippy toes I could barely reach the lowest part of the hanger). The staff was fine not too friendly not too mean. Breakfast was great. One thing that was a major plus was it's location. It was centrally located so it was easy to get around. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not but it wasn't the worst place I've stayed in.

Everyone here at this hotel has been wonderful with their commitment to service and providing a positive experience! But one individual Nuno Segura, made our evening special by taking the time to make a cocktail creation for me as I was unsure what I wanted, but it turned out delicious! He truly wanted me to have a great time and he was humorous and attentive! Well Done Nuno!

Nothing about this hotel is 5 star. From the minute you step into the sterile looking lobby, to the welcome you get from reception to the lack of any porter or offer to get your luggage brought to your room, it fails right from the off. We had an executive suite and it looked old and dated, dark and depressing. The electric fittings were dated, the furnishings cheap and there were no bedside lockers. You can see that it is an old office building converted to a hotel. The lifts badly need an upgrade and the reception area is filled with the hum of the air conditioning. The bar was a joke. The staff were not in the least professional or welcoming and getting 2 drinks took about 10 minutes. Other than us there was nobody else in the bar at the time. Who reviews the standards and approves star ratings on hotels? They badly need to get their act together and downgrade this hotel significantly. Avoid it, it's awful!
